07:00 AM: I’m up. 

07:45 AM: Leaving now for the weekly shopping trip and visit to Mom with sister Jojo.  Back later.

12:30 PM: Talked with sister Mary Ann on the way home from Mom’s, and gave her all the current information on Mom.

12:45 PM: I’m back home and groceries have been put away. 

01:00 PM: Nap time.  Back later. 

01:30 PM: Talked with friend Debbie on the phone and updated her on Mom’s status. 

02:15 PM: I’m awake again.  It’s partly sunny this afternoon with temperatures at 43 degrees roughly.

04:00 PM: Watched today’s   Dr. Phil   episode:  How Far Would You Go For Your Kids? 

05:00 PM: Talked with sister Christine and updated her on Mom’s status as of today. 

05:35 PM: Watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless   on the DVR.  

08:50 PM: Posted the   Dr. Phil Episode: How Far Would You Go For Your Kids?   piece, which is the notes I took from today’s Dr. Phil show.

09:05 PM: So now republicans claim that we can save money by eliminating the collective bargaining rights of unions.  Yea, right, and we could also save by omitting algebra in high school.  Come on.  Didn’t these people ever read Thomas Bell’s Out Of This Furnace book, a story of corporate greed gone a muck in the 19th century steel mills?  Sometimes, it seems, we DON’T learn from history. 

10:15 PM: Posted the   Weekly Bandwidth Usage: 2011-02   piece.

11:55 PM: Journaled for the past 45 minutes.

12:15 AM: Reviewed the daily web site stats for my blogs.  Keyword hit count that I’ve been focused on raising, today was 457.  That’s up from 429 yesterday.  nice!  Hope to hit 500 keywords in the last thirty-day period, within the next week. 

02:10 AM: Heading to bed.  More later.  Good night.

Received Mail and Shipments

  • Pitch letter from DirectTV.  Not at this time, thanks. 
  • Coupons from Wolf Furniture.  But we’re not in the market for furniture at present, thanks.
  • Auto insurance offer from Liberty Mutual.  No thanks.
  • Notice from Mom’s insurance company that she’s reached the end of her 100-day skilled nursing coverage benefit.  So, now she must pay for her stay at the nursing home by herself until her money runs out. 
  • Electricity bill. 
  • Mom’s yearly fire and casualty home owners insurance bill. 
  • Advertisement from M & T bank for their free checking accounts.  No thanks.  I already have one of these.
  • Balance transfer offer from Citi.  No thanks, for I have no balances to transfer.  :-)
  • Credit card offer from Discover.  No thanks.
  • Application papers to attend summer camp at Beacon Lodge.  I won’t be going this year however, but do still enjoy receiving these mailings.  It’s always fun to keep abreast of what that camp is up to.
