09:45 AM: I’m up.
01:00 PM: Posted the Dr. Phil Episode Notes: Mommy Rescue 911 piece.
02:00 PM: Talked with sister Diane. She visited Mom today and found Mom’s legs significantly more swollen. Mom appeared very tired. They had her up and about for a while today but were putting her back to bed when Diane arrived due to her extreme sleepiness. They gave Mom two vials of magnesium. Yep, her blood tested low again for that. Mom reaffirmed that she does not wish to return to the home she left this past Monday, and was adamant in fact. On the bright side though, Mom’s lips exhibited a health, bright pink color; not the ashen look we’ve seen periodically over the past year. It sounds like Mom is not feeling as well today as she was yesterday. But she’s not terribly bad today either.
03:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
05:00 PM: Watched yesterday’s Dr. Phil episode: Dr. Phil Housewives: The Mistress Revealed.
07:55 PM: Posted the Dr. Phil Episode Notes: The Mistress Revealed piece.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy]. It was good to hear her voice. I’m a bit lonely at the moment. Blogging keeps my mind off of it pretty effectively usually. But now and then, I get to feeling very sad about Mom; not only for her situation, but because of how close I am to her age. If my health goes the way hers did, I could be in a nursing home inside of twenty years. That’s daunting. Guess I’d best make sure I have some solid, trustworthy people in my life before I take ill, to represent me should I become mute or otherwise unable to communicate.
