08:10 AM: I’m up.
08:45 AM: Wrote the social worker at Mom’s hospital a letter, expressing our concerns that she’s too ill to be discharged yet. I’m hoping to hear back from her today.
11:00 AM: Talked with the social worker at Mom’s hospital. She feels that Mom’s condition does not warrant her remaining, saying that these good-day-bad-day cycles that Mom experiences may just be characteristic of our mother, and so, would not be fixed by more days at the hospital. She also said that the attending physician would need to order Mom to remain there if her physical problems are severe enough. Apparently at this time however, they think that Mom is well enough to return to a nursing facility. So unless something changes, she’ll be moved to one later this week.
11:05 AM: Leaving for Walk #2 for 2011. Today, I’m getting my hair cut on Main Street. Back later.
12:20 PM: I’m back home again, buzzed and all (short hair that is).
04:45 PM: Posted the Which Religion is Right? piece to the Tom’s Views blog.
04:50 PM: Nap time. Back later.
05:30 PM: I’m awake again.
06:15 PM: Watched and took notes from today’s Dr. Phil episode: Dr. Phil Housewives: Kimm Returns. See the notes here.
10:15 PM: Listened to the Penguins hockey game throughout the evening with [Emmy]. The Pens beat the Ottawa Senators, 5 to 1. Sweet.
11:00 PM: Watched the AC 360 coverage of the unfolding nuclear disaster in Japan.
12:15 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from my blogs. The thirty day unique keyword hit count is now 651; that’s up from 619 yesterday. I’m going to keep writing until I see a thousand unique search hits. Then I’ll have a party, and after that, get back to writing some more.
12:20 AM: Heading to bed now. I’m pleased with my productivity today and want to rest up for what will hopefully be a repeat performance tomorrow. So good night and sweet dreams. I’ll be back out here in less than twelve hours. Take care.
