Log
10:00 AM: I’m up.
11:30 AM: Journaled for an hour.
02:00 PM: Completed and FAXed in the pre admission application for Mom, to a nearby nursing home that we like.
03:45 PM: Posted the NPR Funding Debate piece to the Tom’s Views blog.
05:30 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
05:35 PM: Nap time. Back later.
06:15 PM: I’m awake again.
07:00 PM: Talked with Mom just now. She sounded a little better and said that she feels pretty good actually. Officials told her today that she’s being discharged tomorrow, but we do not yet know where to. Hopefully, the home I submitted the pre admission form to today will call tomorrow AM with a bed for her there. If not, then she’ll go to that one in Altoona where she’s been before; at least, that’s what I told the social worker at the hospital yesterday. Tonight, Mom said that she’d go to the other place under consideration in Altoona if she must, but wants to eventually end up at her home of choice. She says hi and good night to all.
09:10 PM: Posted the Dr. Phil Episode Notes: Kimm Returns piece.
09:11 PM: I really like the buzz cut the barber did on the back of my head and neck yesterday. In fact, next time, I might have him use #1 all over, including the top, which I normally have cut with scissors. That will shorten the relaxing feelings of the haircut experience considerably (from 10 down to less than 5 minutes), but make it easier to keep kempt between cuts. Decisions decisions.
12:00 AM: Watched the 2-hour live AC 360 coverage of the disaster in Japan with [Emmy] on the phone. They’ve dumped water from helicopters on to the crippled reacters at that failing nuclear power plant, in an effort to cool them and to refil the spent fuel ponds. Not successful. Not good.
12:10 AM: Reviewed today’s traffic stats on my blogs. The thirty day unique keyword hit count has no risen from 651 to 671. This is remarkable!
12:15 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night, and take care.
