07:00 AM: I’m up. Only five hours of sleep last night. Yet I’m quite refreshed.
07:45 AM: Leaving now for my weekly shopping trip with sister Jojo. Back later.
10:45 AM: I’m back home and all groceries have been put away.
11:45 AM: Neighbor Marlene called, wanting to know about Mom. I updated her.
01:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy]. Unusual that she’d call at this time. But The Young and the Restless is not airing today due to the CBS coverage of March Madness basketball.
02:45 PM: Watched President Obama’s nationwide address this afternoon, in which he promised coalition support for the rebellion in Libya. Great move. Yes, I’m going to cross party lines on this issue, and side with republicans (can you believe that?) in order to safeguard the freedom movement in North Africa.
03:00 PM: Another high temp for 2011 today; 72 degrees at the moment, and the sun is shining. Today likely qualifies as the first pavilion day of 2011 as well.
03:45 PM: Still no bed at the home we’ believe is the best choice for Mom at this time. However the place she was before has agreed to take Mom. She’ll remain at the hospital through the weekend however, as the determination of her level of required care has not yet come back from Harrisburg. Hopefully Monday, the hospital will receive this. I’m tickled actually, that she’ll remain in the hospital a few more days, to give her new meds more of a chance to take effect. We may go up later today or sometime over the weekend to visit Mom at length.
05:00 PM: Talked a bit with sister Diane while she drove home from Hollidaysburg on I-99, mostly about how upset the two of us are at Mom’s circumstances. It’s very hard to accept loss not only for Mom, but for the rest of us too.
06:30 PM: Walked to Sheetz for a chicken pesto sub with lots of veggies. Really tasty.
07:15 PM: Went on walk 4 of 100 for the year, to the cemetery. Somewhat windy, partly sunny, and balmy.
07:20 PM: Nap time. Back later.
08:10 PM: I’m awake again.
09:15 PM: Watched the news on CNN for a bit.
11:05 PM: Talked with [Emmy]. She made some turkey sausage chilly today, and apparently was pleased with the results.
11:50 PM: Organized items in the downstairs office, and moved stuff to the basement that did not belong there. There’s lots more room now down there.
12:10 AM: Reviewed today’s traffic stats on my blogs. The thirty day unique keyword hit count has risen from 690 to 705. Stupendous!
12:19 AM: Posted the Site Stats: 2011-03-18 piece.
01:25 AM: Hmmmm. Never got the shows recorded on the DVR today. I’m glad it saves them, for colder weather days, when I’m stuck indoors and can watch them.
01:30 AM: Watched a bit of CNN. But now, it’s to bed with me. More tomorrow. Good night.
