07:00 AM: I’m up.
07:45 AM: Leaving now for my Friday shopping trip with sister Jojo. Today, we’ll also visit Mom and buy some clothes for her as well. Back later.
02:25 PM: I’m back home and have put away all groceries.
02:40 PM: We talked to Mom’s physical therapist about her ability to transfer to and from a dental chair at the dentist’s office at her upcoming appointment. The PT sees no significant problems with Mom transferring from wheelchair to dental chair. Of course, the particular installation can make all the difference. So we cannot be absolutely sure she can transfer until we get there. Even if she can’t, the dentist may be able to work on Mom while she sits in her wheelchair. We’ll just have to wait and see.
02:45 PM: We took the sheepskin up today, and the nurse said they’d put it at the foot of Mom’s bed the next time they make it, which presumably, was later this afternoon. Mom says that this pressure-induced wound a pretty bad sore. However, we did not inspect it ourselves, as she already had her socks on when we arrived. Resting one’s feet on the sheepskin is supposed to reduce the incidents of these sorts of pressure wounds.
02:50 PM: Yes, health wise, Mom seemed very good — normal color and relatively energetic. She’s even starting to feel bored, which actually may be a good sign. Her PT said that they had her standing and pivoting this week; also great news. Indeed, once we got her new clothes sorted out and headed downstairs, she was fine. Nice visit overall.
03:00 PM: Nap time. Back later.
04:30 PM: I’m awake again.
05:05 PM: Posted the Dr. Phil Episode Notes: Secret Regrets piece. Next, I’m headed off to watch the actual show.

08:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.

Received Mail and Shipments
- Garbage collection bill that contained a letter, stating that they’re placing bag count limits on collections. Those are 6 13-gallon kitchen garbage bags, or 3 30-gallon big garbage bags.
- Paperwork from our financial planner regarding payment for Mom’s nursing care.
