Log
06:55 AM: I’m up.
07:45 AM: Leaving now for my weekly shopping trip with sister Jojo. We’ll also visit Mom. Back later.
11:30 AM: I’m back home and every item has been put away. I bought some fish fillets today. Haven’t eaten them with my favorite topping of hot sauce for at least a few years. So, I’m indeed looking forward to supper tonight.
12:00 PM: Scheduled my van ride to accompany Mom to her eye appointment early next week. She’ll probably have some laser surgery performed to restore vision in, I think it’s her right eye. Well, it’s one or the other anyway.
01:55 PM: Posted the Tom’s Views –> Accepting Personal Limitations piece.
02:00 PM: Nap time. Back later.
03:30 PM: I’m awake again.
06:00 PM: Baked some of those fish fillets in the oven tonight for supper. They were really tasty with a little hot sauce drizzled over them. Just like the 1980s in college when, while living at Moorhead, I used to prepare Mrs. Paul’s fish fillets at least once a week with the Red Hot sauce.
06:45 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.
07:40 PM: Posted the Tom’s Views –> Self-Actualization – A Strictly Internal Affair piece.
08:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News broadcast via the DVR.
08:20 PM: So where’s the proof that money that funds Planned Parenthood also funds abortions? Many on the news are claiming this today and making this allegation a justification for de funding this organization. Yet none of them that I’ve heard, cites a single case in point that we could look up on the Internet and read about for ourselves. Hmmmmm. Is this more idealistic propaganda perhaps?
09:40 PM: Posted the Tom’s Views –> Planned Parenthood Funding Debate piece.
10:20 PM: Wow. 730 calories for a Cinnabon Classic cinnamon roll. When I used to eat these, I’d throw on two additional cups of icing as well. Hmmmmm. No wonder the weight was so difficult to control in the 90s. I wonder why it’s still so hard to regulate today. Some problems just never go away, do they.
10:55 PM: Talked with [Emmy] throughout the evening. We listened to the Penguins beat the New York Islanders, 4 to 3. The Penguins have made the playoffs.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy] via the phone. So far, her line sounds great since the repairs done yesterday.
12:00 PM: Watched CNN coverage of the budget deal made just over an hour ago, between democrats and republicans. Looks liek the government will not shut down; at least, not for another week anyhow.
01:00 PM: Journaled for a half-hour or so. But I’m hitting the hay now to try and catch up on my missed sleep from last night. So good night and do enjoy your weekend. I’ll be back her tomorrow with more new content. Take care.
