12:30 PM: I’m home. Got drenched in the rain, carrying the groceries into the house. Gosh, I’m sure looking forward to a string of dry days that is longer than one or two consecutive days.

11:00 PM: Talked on the phone with [Emmy] for an hour.
12:00 AM: I just learned on Facebook that US forces have killed Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan, Sometimes, it takes just a long time to prevail (going on two decades now). But it finally did, and I’m grateful to our military and intelligence personnel who relentlessly pursued this terrorist to his end. Thanks much. The world’s a safer place without Bin Laden.
01:30 AM: Watched CNN coverage on the death of Osama Bin Laden. Lots of celebrations going on at ground zero and at the White House.
