09:10 AM: I’m up.

09:45 AM: The lawn mower mechanic stopped over.  He’s ready to take our lawn tracter for repairs and maintenance.  I’ll take it to him as soon as I get a shower.

10:15 AM: Drove the lawn tractor to the mechanic.

11:00 AM: Facebooked a bit.  Current friend count: 538; current fan count: 111.

11:05 AM: Leaving now for the nursing home to visit Mom.  Back later.

01:30 PM: Watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless   up at the nursing home with Mom.

03:30 PM: I’ve returned home.

03:35 PM: Took the lawn tractor for repairs this morning on my way to visit Mom as mentioned, and upon getting back home this afternoon, I found a bag of all the parts the mechanic replaced, and the Cub Cadet lawn tractor too, safely put back in the shed.  New headlights, air and oil filters, and both blades as well.  Guess I hit too many boulders last year.  But man, what fast service that was.  “Shake it like a salt shaker!”

04:00 PM: Nap time.  Back later.

07:00 PM: I’m awake once again.

07:15 PM: Heading out to cut the grass with this newly repaired lawn tractor.  Back later.

09:15 PM: I cut about two thirds of the lawn.  The mower worked great, and I’ll get to the rest of it later this week, weather cooperating.

11:00 PM: Talked with   [Emmy]. She contracted a nasty common cold yesterday.  I hate summer colds.  I hate ANY colds actually.  Hopefully she’ll get over it soon, as she sounds very uncomfortable right now.

12:00 AM: Spent an hour catching up on the official Google blog.  Tonight, I read about the new developments being rolled out in Google Search, including instant pages, searching by image, entering a query by speaking it (not just typing it), and the latest enhancements to their Chrome browser.  Powerful stuff.  May, what they can do when they have thousands of computers doing it.

12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs.  The monthly keyword hit count moved way up this time, and now stands at  1501; up from 1414 yesterday.  The new record high is now 1501 key phrases therefore.  The goal of 1500 has now been reached.  So the next goal: 2000.

12:15 AM: Bed time.  More tomorrow.  Good night.
