06:45 AM: I’m up.
07:50 AM: Got caught up on the blogs and Facebook.
08:00 AM: Leaving now with sister Jojo, her daughter Katie, and her friend Mariah for weekly shopping. Back later.
10:00 AM: We stopped at Wal Mart and Gabriel Brothers. I found a couple low-pricedphone chargers that work well with Mom’s and my Razr phones. Now I don’t have to worry as much about losing the chargers while traveling. $6.99 apiece. Unfortunately, they were all sold out of the iPod chargers; two of which I purchased last week. Those turned out to be pretty good for the money as well, at $4.99 apiece.
11:00 AM: Then we drove to Dunkin’ Donuts for our coffee and (at least this week anyhow) Bavarian Cream donuts for Mom and me.
12:30 PM: As per ususl, we capped off this shopping trip with a visit to Mom. She and her friend Jeff joined us for lunch in the 1st floor lounge. Jojo and I went and bought them some Texas hot dogs. That store isn’t too adept at providing satisfactory customer service; Jojo even commented on it, and she’s far more forgiving over such things than me. But we endure the barked questions and “divey” facility looks because Mom and Jeff enjoy those dogs so much. Mom’s sister also joined us. I also paid the nursing the last of Mom’s remaining money, except for the small amount she’s allowed to retain for personal maintenance and non covered medical needs.
01:00 PM: I’m back home, and all groceries have been put away.
01:50 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.
02:00 PM: Nap time. back later.
03:30 PM: I’m awake again. Still troubled by the cold, which seems to be on the move downward from my head and throat into my chest; I’ve developed more coughing, and have an overall tired and i-simply-don’t-care-about-anything feeling. I need more rest.
09:45 PM: Added Promo Only’s EA DFF music series; the July, 2011, week one issue to my music library (38 songs). We’ll be playing this music tomorrow at nephew Grant’s graduation party.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
12:00 AM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News broadcast via the DVR.
12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count moved higher again this time, and now stands at 1669; up from 1658 yesterday. The new record high is now 1669. The next goal: 2000.
12:15 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.
