Log
08:00 AM: I’m up.
08:30 AM: Checked on my Dell Data Safe Online Backup activity overnight. All looks good. I like knowing that all my important files are being backed up automatically and reliably.
09:20 AM: Posted the Tom’s Views –> Mrs. Paul’s Fish Sandwich Fillets Review piece.
10:15 AM: For breakfast this morning: An extra large decaffeinated coffee with cream from Sheetz. This is a healthy meal because, at least, I had to WALK to Sheetz to get it.
10:40 AM: Leaving now to visit Mom. Back later.
11:15 AM: I arrived at the home.
11:30 AM: Mom has been moved to a new room, to get her away from a rather domineering roommate when it came to very late-night television. She’s just a couple doors down from where she was before, and she’s by herself again.
12:15 PM: I went to the Texas hot dog shop and picked up Mom’s favorite lunch for her.
01:30 PM: After Mom ate, we watched the noon news on WTAJ TV 10 here in Altoona, followed by The Young and the Restless.
03:00 PM: I’m back home.
04:00 PM: Wrote some more content for future blog posts.
04:05 PM: Nap time. Back later.
06:45 PM: I’m awake again. Going through the mail and paying bills now.
07:45 PM: Balanced two checking accounts.
09:20 PM: Paid (4) pending bills.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
12:00 AM: Facebooked for an hour and just caught up on reading my news feed. Also read a bit of the Blind Windows 7 forum
12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count stopped falling, and rose a little, and now stands at 1774; up from 1756 the last time I checked. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
12:20 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.
Received Mail and Shipments
- Weekly coupon mailer.
- Talking Book Topics from NLS; the July-August, 2011 edition.
- Offer from Sears Home Services for new vinyl siding, heating and cooling systems, and kitchen remodeling and cabinet refacing. No thanks. These things are way beyond my budget at this point.
