08:00 AM: I’m up.
09:00 AM: Cancelled today’s ride to the nursing home, as sister Jojo and I visited Mom there last night.
11:00 AM: Walked to Sheetz for a coffee and to pick up the mail.
12:00 PM: Continued the arduous task of filing all of Mom’s important papers for easy access in the future. Today, I gathered up all her bank statements and put them in one file. I also rounded up all her copies of checks she has written and put them with the statements.
01:30 PM: Talked with [Emmy], and helped her with updating the start time of an appointment in her Outlook calendar.
03:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.
03:05 PM: It’s the hottest day of the year so far. The temperature at Bellwood PA just up the road is 102 degrees. Wow! I had plans to go out for an early supper with a good friend. However, we decided not to go due to the heat. We didn’t want to risk the car breaking down and us getting stuck in that blazing sunshine for very long.
05:45 PM: Skipped all of this week’s rerun episodes of Dr. Phil on the DVR.
08:30 PM: Skipped all rerun episodes of CBS’s 60 Minutes and all remaining rerun episodes of Dr. Phil on the DVR.
10:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episodes of NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
12:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of CNN’s AC 360 news show.
12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count dropped some more, and now stands at 1679; down from 1757 the last time I checked. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
12:20 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.

- Notice of covered medical expense from Mom’s medical insurance company. This is for the hospital bed she had during January and early February of this year.
