00 PM: Upgraded all blogs from WordPress 3.1.3 to WordPress 3.2.1. No problems found so far. All seems to be working well.
00 PM: Nap time. Back later.
00 PM: I’m awake again.
15 PM: Talked with Mom. She wanted to know what the current score of the Pirates game was and at first, I was quite challenged to find out. Not used to looking up live-action sports game scores. However after several minutes, I came across the score on the Yahoo news site in the form of a ‘box score’ table. Wasn’t sure how to interpret that table initially. But as it turned out, the opposing team (St. Louis Cardinals) had 9 runs to the Pirates’ 1 run in the top of the 9th inning. This made me suspect that I was reading total hits count instead of runs count. How after all, could the Pirates be losing so badly when they’ve been playing so well lately? But that’s what happened. They lost the game to the Cardinals, 9 to 1. Grrrrrr.
00 PM: Watched tonight’s episodes of NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.
00 PM: Talked with [Emmy] via the cordless phone on the east porch. The crickets and katydids are growing louder and louder; a sign that summer is maturing this year. It’s flying by.
00 PM: Watched the 2011-07-03, 2011-07-10, and 2011-07-17 episodes of CBS’x Face The Nation weekly news show via the DVR.
05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count dropped some more, and now stands at 1636; down from 1679 the last time I checked. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
20 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.
