09:00 AM: I’m up.

10:30 AM: Leaving now to visit Mom and to accompany her to her eye doctor’s office this afternoon.  Back later.

12:00 PM: I walked over the Texas hot dog shop and bought Mom and I our usual lunch except that I did without the hot dogs this time, opting instead for two medium-sized orders of French fries.

01:30 PM: Mom and I watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless.

01:45 PM: The specially-equipped van arrived to take Mom, myself, and her wheelchair to her eye doctor appointment.

02:30 PM: We arrived at the office without incident and the eye doctor determined that Mom has some new bleeding inside her right eye, that’s probably causing the floaters to grow in size and density.  The doctor recommended that Mom see a specialist for additional laser treatments on that eye, to slow the hemoragine.

02:55 PM: We then scheduled her next appointment with this doctor (in October) and one with the retina specialist (in August), and waited for our rides.  Mom’s getting a different van back to the nursing home, while I’m getting the Blair Senior Services van back to my home.

03:30 PM: I’m back home.

04:00 PM: Nap time.  Back later.

05:15 PM: I’m awake again.

05:30 PM: Skipped today’s rerun episode of   Dr. Phil    on the DVR.

07:15 PM: Leaving now for walk 33 of 100 in 2011, to the south cemetery.  Back later.

08:15 PM: I’m back. Mostly sunny and low humidity tonight with temperatures hovering at 78 degrees. I can just feel the pounds sweating out.

10:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episodes of   NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.

11:00 PM: Talked with   [Emmy].

12:00 AM: Watched tonight’s episode of CNN’s   AC 360 news show.

12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs.  The monthly keyword hit count turned upward a bit, and now stands at 1616; up from 1602 the last time I checked.  The record high for this dimension remains at 1788.  The next goal: 2000.

12:20 AM: Bed time.  More tomorrow.  Good night.
