08:15 AM: We’re up. ’tis a sunny morning with temps in the low 50s.
10:35 AM: Leaving now to hang out with sister Christine at her swimming pool for the day. Back later.
12:30 PM: I swam for the first time this summer (better late than never). The water was so clear and blue; a point of pride for sister Christine that she did mention in fact. It was beautiful. The sun blazed bright and hot on this low-humidity day with deep blue skies and few clouds to speak of. [Emmy] sat at pool side with her feet in the water. She did not swim however due to her stomach being out of sorts today. But just the same, she seemed to enjoy herself very much.
02:40 PM: Then, I got out of the water after a couple hours, sensing that I was getting a little burned; that sunscreen I’d applied earlier was beginning to wear off. Not wanting to apply it again, I got dressed and we just hung out at a patio table near to the pool, listening to 93.7 WBUS in State College on the radio. Classic rock and sister Christine’s swimming pool atmosphere go well together.
02:50 PM: We’re leaving now for DelGrosso park and Austin’s Texas hot dogs. Back later.
03:15 PM: We’re back home.
03:30 PM: We devoured our hot dogs and fries. Mmmmmm.
03:55 PM: We then got showers (for the second time today), to wash off all that sunscreen lotion.
04:00 PM: Nap time. Back later.
05:00 PM: We’re awake again.
06:00 PM: Watched the KDKA TV local news at 5:00 PM.
06:45 PM: Leaving now for walk 51 of 100 for 2011, to the south cemetery. Back later. [Emmy] opted out of this walk as she’s still not feeling very well. So it’s just going to be me out there tonight, all by myself, the way it’s usually done here.
07:45 PM: I’m home. Didn’t see anyone I knew at the cemetery tonight, but did receive a few hellos and grins from passers by.
09:30 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.
10:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.
11:55 PM: Facebooked at various times throughout today. Friend count: 563. Fan count: 111.
12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count is unchanged, and currently stands at 1527; unchanged from 1527 the last time I checked. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
12:10 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.

- RSVP for Mom’s next care planning meeting at the nursing home.
- Information on my medical insurance provider’s Health Partner program.
- Sewage bill.
- Offer to join the Marauder Club that raises funds for Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School. No thanks.
- Yet another offer to extend the warranty on our new washer. This is the third one I’ve received in fact. Again, I must decline.
