07:00 AM: I’m up.
07:15 AM: Leaving now for walk 70 of 100 for 2011, again, to the south cemetery. Back later.
08:15 AM: I’m back home. The walk started with mostly cloudy skies. But about three quarters of the way through, the sun came out and things heated up to a sweaty beat. I’m glad I finished when I did. Temperatures were in the mid 70s and the humidity was quite high.
01:30 PM: Talked with [Emmy] for the past hour and a half. We were both missing each other.
04:45 PM: Nap time. Back later.
06:00 PM: I’m awake again.
06:55 PM: Got into a debate on Facebook with a biker over the needlessness for all that noise the motorcycles make. Needless to say, he argued in favor of the noise, and I argued against it.
07:00 PM: Leaving now for a sort-of pre-Labor Day party at sister Diane’s house. She had some left-over food to use up from the football “tale gate” this past Friday night. So she invited sisters Jojo and Christine, and their families to come. Sister Mary Ann could not make it due to a prior engagement.
08:00 PM: Nephew Grant headed back to college a day early (today) to spend time with his new-found friends. He says he LOVES college.
08:30 PM: Then, a rather-raging thunderstorm came through. So the deck us fellows sat while eating became very wet, very fast. So we moved our plates to the porch with the girls.
09:30 PM: Eventually, the storm passed. But well after the weather had quieted down, we experienced a power outage. Fortunately, sister Diane had prevously lit a bunch of torches and candles. The party continued.
10:35 PM: I’m back home. Nice party but terrible for my diet. I’ve really gotta get that treadmill in here. I just hope I actually use it once it’s purchased.
10:40 PM: No power failure here. In fact, our electricity has been quite reliable since the power company adjusted its equipment for us a couple years back.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
11:30 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.
12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count rose a bit, and currently stands at 1231; up from 1227 the last time I checked. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
12:10 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.
