08:15 AM: I’m up.
08:45 AM: Facebooked a bit. Friend count: 579 (unchanged). Fan count: 111 (unchanged).
10:30 AM: Leaving now to help a customer connect his DSL Internet service to his computer. Back later.
01:40 PM: I’m back home. Looks like his provider sent him the wrong device (it was NOT a DSL modem). So we’ll follow up with them on Monday.
02:00 PM: Nephews Grant and Garrett, along with their father Rich dropped by to pick up the stuff Mom wants them to have.
05:00 PM: They took Mom’s large kitchen table, green rocker recliner chair, the 40” TV (very heavy), and the wicker furniture. They also removed some junk wooden items from the junk pile out back.
05:55 PM: Watched an hour of CNN news.
06:00 PM: Leaving now for walk 77 of 100 for 2011, again, to the south cemetery. Back in an hour.
07:00 PM: I’m back. The temperature was 60 degrees, mostly cloudy, no wind, and dry. Another crisp, autumn-like walk it was.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
12:05 AM: Reviewed the daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count fell this time, and currently stands at 1087; down from 1102 at last check. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
12:10 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.
Received Mail and Shipments
- Notice from the Veteran’s Administration that they’re still processing Mom’s claim. No word on their progress in this effort however. They just asked us to remain patient and that a decision on Mom’s elligibility will be reached soon.
- Misc. bank papers.
- Sewage bill.
- Misc. junk mail.
