I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat. It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

- 12:40 PM: 2 chicken soft tacos. 600 calories.
- 02:30 PM: 2 cups of low-fat chocolate milk. 350 calories.
- 06:00 PM: 1 multivitamin. 0 calories.
- 09:00 PM: 1 large bowl of Cheerios with maple syrup and organic skim milk. 600 calories.
- 09:30 PM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control. 60 calories.
