06:30 AM: I’m up early, to be ready for the treadmill delivery in the next hour or two.

06:45 AM: Facebooked for a bit.  Friend count: 588 (up one).  Fan count: 112 (down one).

08:00 AM: The treadmill has been delivered and set up in the living room.  It turns out that it has a retractable walking platform, that can be lifted up and locked, for storage.  This makes it possible to move the treadmill around for one person, as it has wheels on the rear portions of its front stand.

08:30 AM: I walked briskly on the treadmill to test it out.  It works great.  It’s a bit noisier than expected but easily tolerated just the same.  I’ll count this exercise as walk 82 of 100 for 2011.

08:30 AM: Brother in-law Richard just arrived.  We’re setting to work on removing the trim from the three windows here in the first floor office, in preparation for adding sound-reducing laminated glass pains to their interiors.

10:30 AM: All trim to be removed, has in fact been removed.  Rich showed me how to do it with minimal damage to the existing trim.  So I should be able to perform this task on the rest of the windows when it comes time to seal them up.

10:35 AM: Now, Rich and I are hauling the things of mine that I’ve kept in a local storage facility for the past ten years, from the storage place down to here.  This will save me $65 per month in bin rental charges.

01:00 PM: My storage bin has now been completely vacated, and all my things, including my DJ sound and lighting equipment, I have here at the house now.  It took three trips in Rich’s truck to get it all.  But the job went quickly, and cleanup of the bin once vacated was pretty simple.  I thoroughly swept it out.  I will call the storage company on Monday to let them know that I’m out of there and to thank them for the decade of service.

01:45 PM: We loaded the one remaining picnic table in the yard into Rich’s truck.  He’ll take that home and place it in his yard, where it’s likely to receive much more usage than it ever would have here.

06:00 PM: I spent the rest of the afternoon washing and stowing the dishes and cookware I brought home from storage.

11:00 PM: Talked with   [Emmy].  We listened to some of this late game with the Flames.  However, [Emmy] does not stay up for the entire game, due to the regimentation she must observe as a participant in a sleep study.

12:00 AM: Spent the evening rearranging the living room and east sitting room.  The objective: make space for the treadmill in the sitting room, so the living room may become the primary sitting room.

12:05 AM: The daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs.  The monthly keyword hit count fell this time, and currently stands at 1002; down from 1033 at last check.  The record high for this dimension remains at 1788.  The next goal: 2000.

12:35 AM: Played around with Netflix.  Their collection of available movies and shows seems to have grown markedly since I’ve been a member (going on ten months now).

12:40 AM: Bed time.  More tomorrow.  Good night.
