Log
09:15 AM: I’m up.
09:30 AM: Facebooked for a bit. Friend count: 594 (unchanged). Fan count: 112 (unchanged).
12:15 PM: Trimmed a gas tank’s worth of tree limbs in the yard and cleaned the south porch gutters. Not too clogged this year, but I did require my auger and some squirts from the garden hose to completely clear the downspouts of spruce tree needles.
02:00 PM: Registered my new treadmill for warranty coverage; one must register in order to activate the warranty. I’m hoping they’ll send me an email confirmation.
02:45 PM: Filed all owners manuals in one location here in the office for appliances that Mom kept in various drawers around the house.
04:00 PM: Made a batch of buckwheat pancakes for a late lunch, and served them to myself with pure maple syrup and blueberry syrup. Yum!
05:00 PM: Watched the rest of today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.
05:05 PM: Skipped today’s episode of Dr. Phil, called “Our Teen is Tearing the Family Apart”. This episode is so much like some others that deal with teens, sex, and other temptations that the Internet can make very easily accessed. I didn’t want to see more of the same.
05:50 PM: Watched the Star Trek episode from the original series called Who Mourns for Adonais?
07:00 PM: Nap time. Back later.
08:20 PM: I’m awake again.
08:50 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
12:05 AM: The daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count fell this time, and currently stands at 1008, which is down from 1013 at last check. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
12:55 AM: Watched the republican presidential debates from 2011-10-18 throughout the evening tonight via the DVR. Mitt Romney appeared the most presidential to me, in spite of the frequent altercations with Rick Perry, just about all of which were instigated by Perry. So if I was forced to vote republican, Romney would be my man. But thank goodness I cannot be forced to vote republican.
01:00 AM: Headed for bed. More tomorrow. Good night.
