Today’s Diet: 2011-10-21

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 180.0 pounds.  That’s unchanged from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 177.5 pounds. The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 07:15 AM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.
  • 09:00 AM: 1 larger-than-extra-large decaffeinated coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts.  200 calories.
  • 09:05 AM: 1 Bavarian cream donut from Dunkin’ Donuts.  250 calories.
  • 12:30 PM: 1 baguette from Panera Bread restaurant with butter.  175 calories.
  • 12:45 PM: 1 Asian sesame chicken salad from Panera Bread restaurant.  410 calories.
  • 06:15 PM: 1 multivitamin.  0 calories.
  • 09:30 PM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.
  • 10:05 PM: 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.  200 calories.
  • 10:05 PM: 1 cup of Dole orange banana pineapple juice.  140 calories.
  • 12:05 AM: 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.  200 calories.

Total calories: 1695
