Today’s Diet: 2011-10-22

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 178.0 pounds.  That’s down two pounds from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 177.5 pounds. The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 09:45 AM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.
  • 01:00 PM: 5 tablespoons of peanut butter.  500 calories.
  • 01:05 PM: 1 cup of Dole orange banana pineapple juice.  140 calories.
  • 02:00 PM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.
  • 06:00 PM: Steamed green beans with olive oil, garlic salt, and Parmesan cheese.  400 calories.
  • 06:05 PM: 1/2 cup of oatmeal with olive oil and Parmesan cheese.  300 calories.
  • 06:10 PM: 1 cup of Dole orange banana pineapple juice.  140 calories.
  • 06:15 PM: 1 multivitamin.  0 calories.
  • 08:30 PM: 6 Oz. raspberries with blueberry syrup.  200 calories.
  • 09:30 PM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.

Total calories: 1860
