Today’s Diet: 2011-11-01

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 176.0 pounds.  That’s unchanged from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2011-10-24). The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 10:00 AM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.
  • 12:15 PM: 2 soft chicken tacos.  600 calories.
  • 12:30 PM: 1/2 order of cinnamon flavored nacho chips.  300 calories.
  • 02:30 PM: 1 pack of peanut M & Ms.  250 calories.
  • 02:40 PM: 1 bottle of Turkey Hill peach flavored iced tea.  200 calories.
  • 06:30 PM: 1 turkey veggie sub with pesto sauce from Sheetz.  700 calories.
  • 06:45 PM: 1 king-sized Reese’s Fast Break candy bar.  450 calories.
  • 09:30 PM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.

Total calories: 2620
