I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat. It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

- 09:15 AM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control. 60 calories.
- 11:00 AM: 2 cups of V8 vegetable juice. 100 calories.
- 12:00 PM: 1 serving of blueberry Greek yogurt. 150 calories.
- 01:00 PM: 2 ears of corn with a bit of salt and margarine. 200 calories.
- 01:05 PM: 1 cup of orange juice. 110 calories.
- 06:00 PM: 1 bowl of chilly with a cup of oat bran added for additional fiber. 800 calories.
- 09:10 PM: 2 cups of Cheerios with blueberries, raisins, and organic skim milk. 600 calories.
- 09:30 PM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control. 60 calories.
Total calories: 2080
