- Shower. DONE.
- Cat duty. DONE. Cat duty involves cleaning the litter boxes, bagging the excess, feeding, and house cleaning cat dirt of all types.

08:55 AM: I’m up.
09:05 AM: Facebooked for several minutes. Friend count: 596 (unchanged). Fan count: 112 (unchanged).
10:30 AM: Leaving now to visit Mom. No shopping trip today, as sister Jojo had a continuing education class to attend for her dental profession.
12:00 PM: Mom was quite awake today and I got her some Texas hot dogs and fries for lunch, which she seemed to enjoy.
01:00 PM: Then, I walked her to the beauty shop; they curl her hair every two weeks for her.
02:30 PM: Then, we went to the activities room, where some new old flowers arrived, and Mom is in charge of recycling them into beautiful arrangements that tend to last an additional week or so. They then place her bouquets around the home to brighten the atmosphere and lift spirits.
03:15 PM: I’m back home.
04:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.
06:00 PM: I received an estimate for the sound-reducing windows from one vendor. That was significantly more than I hoped to pay per window, and included delivery, but not installation. Wow! I’m hoping that the other estimates I’m waiting for are much lower.
07:25 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.
08:15 PM: Watched today’s episode of Dr. Phil, called Parents Caught Crossing The Line?
09:00 PM: Watched the original series of Star Trek; the episode: What Are Little Girls Made Of?
10:00 PM: Spent an hour reading about privacy fences. If the additional glass on my windows doesn’t sufficiently quiet things down, I may look into beefing up the fence out front by doubling its height, eliminating the spaces between the pickets, and adding a second layer of pickets on the back side to further dampen the road noise that reaches the house. Big project, I know. But the upsurge in road noise the past couple years is making me a bit crazy I guess.
11:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
11:55 PM: Downloaded approximately 50 new songs today from Promo Only’s Express Audio music subscription service.
12:00 AM: I’m headed to bed. Good night, and I’ll write more tomorrow.
12:05 AM: The daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count dropped this time, and currently stands at 906, down from 913 at last check. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
