Today’s Diet: 2011-11-04

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 178.0 pounds.  That’s up a pound from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2011-10-24). The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 10:00 AM: 1 extra large Sheetz hot chocolate with half and half.  400 calories.
  • 12:00 PM: 1 order of French fries.  400 calories.
  • 12:05 PM: 1 salad.  100 calories.
  • 12:15 PM: 1 personal pizza.  400 calories.
  • 06:00 PM: 2 Reese’s Fast Break candy bars.  900 calories.
  • 09:00 PM: 1 bowl of Cheerios with maple syrup and skim milk.  500 calories.
  • 10:05 PM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control.  60 calories.
  • 11:00 PM: 2 servings of lite apple sauce.  100 calories.

Total calories: 2860
