08:50 AM: I’m up.  Unlike last week’s snow on Saturday, today, it’s sunny.  None too warm it is,with temperatures in the mid thirties.   But it’s a pretty day outside today.

11:30 AM: Walked and jogged on the treadmill for one hour and forty five minutes, for walk 89 of 100 in 2011.  I burned roughly a thousand calories and traversed more than six miles — treadmill miles that is.

11:45 AM: Facebooked for several minutes. Friend count: 596 (unchanged). Fan count: 112 (unchanged).

12:00 PM: Wow, today’s walk really played me out.  So I’m taking a nap.  Back later.

01:00 PM: I’m awake again.  I suspect that I’m so tired from today’s treadmill workout because I set the incline at three percent for most of the workout.  Up until now, I’ve walked with no incline.  So this is just a little something new to get used to.  The workout’s a little harder now due to the increased incline.

01:15 PM: Talked with   [Emmy].   She’s out and about, buying shoes and looking for some Penguins hockey sweatshirts.  That sports-related paraphernalia tends to cost lots.  But hopefully, she’ll find something she really likes, that does not break her bank.

01:30 PM: Began the weekly system backups of all my web sites.

02:30 PM: Completed the weekly system backups of all my web sites.

03:55 PM: Posted the   Weekly Backups: 2011-10-22   and   Weekly Backups: 2011-11-05    pieces.

04:00 PM: So, I wonder how many more times they’ll keep stringing up the power lines that storms bring down every year.  I mean, we know, based on over a century of experience, that wires in the air are at great risk of damage, especially nowadays that the typical weather extreme is even more extreme than it was, say, fifty years ago.  We may have to bite the bullet, and finally put all those wires underground.

09:00 PM: Finished adding recursive folder processing to all the file format conversion programs in the Tommy’s Tunes software suite.  Testing the M4A to WAV conversion program on a batch of approximately 2400 songs from the past

10:00 PM: Watched the   Star Trek   original series episodes:  The Man Trap   and   Spock’s Brain   via Netflix.

11:00 PM: Talked with   [Emmy].

11:15 PM: I’m off to bed.  Good night.  More tomorrow.

12:05 AM: The daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs.  The monthly keyword hit count fell this time, and currently stands at 891, which is down from 906 at last check.  The record high for this dimension remains at 1788.  The next goal: 2000.
