I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat. It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

- 10:00 AM: 1 extra large Sheetz hot chocolate with half & half. 400 calories.
- 10:10 AM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil in water for cholesterol control. 60 calories.
- 01:00 PM: 3 O’Doul’s alcohol-free beers. 300 calories.
- 01:45 PM: 1 baked potato with a bit of sour cream and butter. 400 calories.
- 01:50 PM: 1 helping of sirloin tips with mushrooms and onions. 300 calories.
- 02:00 PM: A few French fries and a single spoonful of the twins’ birthday cake. 200 calories.
- 02:30 PM: 1 extra large Dunkin’ Donuts decaffeinated coffee with cream. 150 calories.
- 08:00 PM: 1 batch of buckwheat pancakes with pure maple syrup. 1200 calories.
- 09:00 PM: 2 cups of Genesis Today Cranberry Goji juice. 160 calories.
- 10:00 PM: 1 cup of Genesis Today acai berry juice. 100 calories.
