Today’s Diet: 2011-11-13

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 178.0 pounds.  That’s up a pound from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2011-10-24). The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 11:30 AM: 1 heaping tablespoon of Metamucil for cholesterol control.  60 calories.
  • 11:35 AM: 2 cups of organic skim milk.  160 calories.
  • 11:40 AM: 2 cups of orange juice.  220 calories.
  • 01:00 PM: 1 bowl of ham and bean soup with cream cheese.  1000 calories.
  • 06:00 PM: 36 Hershey’s kisses.  800 calories.
  • 09:55 AM: 2 cups of orange juice.  220 calories.

Total calories: 2460
