Log

07:00 AM: I’m up.  [Emmy] is still asleep, and probably will not rise until after I’ve left for shopping this morning.

07:15 AM: Facebooked for several minutes. Friend count: 602 (up one). Fan count: 114 (unchanged).

07:45 AM: Leaving now for shopping and to visit Mom.  Back later.

01:30 PM: I’m back home.  I bought my 11.5 pound turkey this trip.  True, perhaps too big for two at one sitting.  But my dark meat passion and fondness for a few days’ worth of leftover Thanksgiving foul on rye with mayo, precluded settling for the smaller, all-white meat turkey breast.  So instead, I found a bigger-than-breast yet relatively small, WHOLE BIRD. Yum!  Happy Thanksgiving!  Firemen: Stand ready.

04:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of    The Young and the Restless   via the DVR.

05:30 PM: Repaired perhaps 20 burned-out Christmas light bulbs on the porch.

07:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of   Dr. Phil, called    Penn State Scandal: Parents Beware.

08:00 PM:  Watched last night’s and tonight’s episodes of   NBC’s Nightly News   via the DVR.

10:15 PM: Sister Mary Ann stopped by with her entire family.  They just left the Bellwood football game, which Bellwood won 11 to 10 by the way.  They just wanted to say hi and to freshen up in preps for the drive back to State College.  They loved the lights outside and were quite excited about the game and nephew Tyler’s performance — he kicked the winning field goal with just a few seconds left in the entire game.

10:55 PM: They noticed one of my light strings had many burned-out bulbs on their way out.  So, after they left, I replaced that string, and replaced all faulty bulbs in the removed string.  This string is ready for deployment once again.

11:00 PM: We’re headed to bed.  Good night.  Come back for more tomorrow.

12:05 AM: The daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs.  The monthly keyword hit count fell this time, and currently stands at 798, down from 802 at last check.  The record high for this dimension remains at 1788.  The next goal: 2000.
