Today’s Diet: 2011-11-24

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 179.0 pounds.  That’s unchanged from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2011-10-24). The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 09:30 AM: 2 cups of orange juice.  220 calories.
  • 12:30 PM: 1 extra large Sheetz hot chocolate with half & half.  500 calories.
  • 04:30 PM: 2 plates full of Thanksgiving dinner at sister Christine’s, including turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, creamed cauliflower (I made that), and pineapple souffle.  2000 calories.
  • 08:00 PM: 1 slice of pumpkin pie.  300 calories.

Total calories: 2800
