Today’s Diet: 2011-11-25

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 179.0 pounds.  That’s unchanged from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2011-10-24). The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 09:30 AM: 2 cups of orange juice.  220 calories.
  • 11:30 AM: 4 buckwheat pancakes with added oat bran, Smucker’s strawberry syrup, Smucker’s blueberry syrup, and pure maple syrup.  800 calories.
  • 12:30 PM: 1 cup of apple cider.  140 calories.
  • 03:00 PM: Left over Thanksgiving dinner.  1000 calories.
  • 08:00 PM: 4 Reese’s “Big Cup” peanut butter cups.  800 calories.

Total calories: 2960
