Today’s Activities
- Shower. DONE.
- Cat duty. DONE. Cat duty involves cleaning the litter boxes, bagging the excess, feeding, and house cleaning cat dirt of all types.

10:00 AM: We’re up.
10:15 AM: Facebooked for several minutes. Friend count: 610 (unchanged). Fan count: 114 (unchanged).
10:20 AM: Worked out on the treadmill for 35 minutes, walking and jogging approximately 2.0 miles and burning off roughly 266 calories, for walk 110 in 2011.
12:00 PM: Began preparations for a steak dinner that I’m cooking for [Emmy] and two of our friends. The friends are due to arrive shortly. I’m making a pineapple soufle’, boiled, parsley potatoes, wok-fried peppers, mushrooms, and onions, and of course, the steaks, which are top sirloin.
12:15 PM: The friends arrived, bringing some carrot cake for dessert and a tub of Gardner’s chocolate-coated caramel popcorn as a small gift. Nice.
12:45 PM: Dinner is served. We’re eating at my glass-top kitchen table, which seats four; the exact number.
01:00 PM: The souffle’ appeared to have too much cinnamon, as it looked darker than it does when my sisters and aunt make it. I would later ask sister Jojo about this, and she would tell me that in the recipe she gave me, she should have written 1 teaspoon of cinnamon instead of one tablespoon. Still though, the dish was quite delicious, and the guests did not know any better. They thought, due to the prominent cinnamon flavor, that it was a kind of apple strudel instead of pineapple souffle’. Well, at least in this case, what they do not know will not hurt them. 
02:45 PM: After dinner, we moved to the living room to enjoy looking at the Christmas tree and to have some holiday conversation and share fond memories. I told them about the blue mirror and some of the pictures on the fridge that they had asked about. They shared some stories of their travels around the US, and talked of their three children, of whom they’re quite proud. [Emmy] and I enjoyed listening, as hearing them talk was like reading a riveting talking book. We enjoyed having them over.
03:00 PM: The friends left.
03:05 PM: We’re headed for a nap. All that food has us quite sleepy. Back later.
04:55 PM: We’re awake again.
06:00 PM: We watched KDKA TV’s local news at 5:00 PM.
07:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless via the DVR.
11:00 PM: [Emmy] is heading to bed.
11:55 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News via the DVR.
12:05 AM: The daily traffic stats from yesterday for my blogs. The monthly keyword hit count for this run is 866, up from 850 at last check. The record high for this dimension remains at 1788. The next goal: 2000.
01:30 AM: Watched my favorite parts of the movie Superman II via Netflix (yes, same as the movie I watched last night). As I mentioned then, this is my favorite Superman movie.
01:45 AM: I’m heading to bed. More tomorrow.
