Today’s Diet: 2011-12-24

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.  It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 182.0 pounds.  That’s up one from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2011-10-24). The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

Too much at too many places (sister Jojo’s house, sister Christine’s house, sister Diane’s house, and my house) to keep track of.  I’m certain however that I consumed between three and four thousand calories at our annual progressive dinner and the snacks beforehand.  However, much salad, cheese, candy, hot dogs, and even a shot of honey bourbon whiskey I enjoyed; yes, I broke my nearly eight-year fast from alcohol.

Total calories: 4000.
