Today’s Diet: 2011-12-28

I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.  It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Weight Log

Today’s weight: 184.0 pounds.  That’s up two pounds from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2011-10-24). The high weight is 185.5 pounds (established on 2011-04-13).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal teas throughout the day.  0 calories.
  • 07:20 AM: 1 cup of V8 vegetable juice.  50 calories.
  • 07:30 AM: 1 bowl of red grapefruit.  180 calories.
  • 01:15 PM: 1 10” cheese steak sub with veggies and Italian dressing.  800 calories.
  • 02:00 PM: 1 Snickers peanut butter candy bar.  280 calories.
  • 02:05 PM: 1 Snickers original candy bar.  230 calories.
  • 06:30 PM: 1 bowl of red grapefruit.  180 calories.
  • 08:00 PM: 2 cups of V8 vegetable juice.  100 calories.
  • 09:15 PM: 1 banana.  125 calories.
  • 09:20 PM: 1 bowl of Cheerios with organic skim milk.  180 calories.

Total calories: 2125.
