Today’s Diet: 2012-02-19
I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat. It seems to work, so here we go with another day…
Weight Log
Today’s weight: 176.0 pounds. That’s unchanged from yesterday. The 2012 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2012-02-13). The high weight for 2012 so far: 184.0 pounds (established on 2012-01-01).
Food Log
Today, I consumed the following items:
- Herbal teas throughout the day. 0 calories.
- 12:00 PM: 4 pancakes with Sohgave! maple-flavored agave nectar. Never tried this syrup before. It’s pretty good and tastes much like pure maple syrup. However, the label on the Sohgave says that has a lower glycemic index (GI = 17), as opposed to pure maple syrup, that has a GI of 54 approximately. 800 calories.
- 12:15 PM: 2 cups of milk. 160 calories.
- 07:00 PM: 1 large bowl of whole-wheat pasta with Parmesan cheese. 1400 calories.
- 10:00 PM: 2 cups of almond drink with Sohgave! maple-flavored agave nectar to sweeten it a bit. 200 calories.
