I keep this food and fitness diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, my weight, and blood pressure with the hope that seeing these numbers repeatedly and often decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.  It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Today’s weight: 176.0 pounds.  That’s unchanged from yesterday.  The 2012 year low weight so far: 176.0 pounds (established on 2012-02-13). The high weight for 2012 so far: 184.0 pounds (established on 2012-01-01).

Food Log

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal teas throughout the day.  0 calories.
  • 10:00 AM: 1 extra large decaffeinated almond coffee with cream from Dunkin’ Donuts.  150 calories.
  • 01:30 PM: 1 bowl of tomato basil soup.  200 calories.
  • 01:30 PM: 1 bowl of Caesar salad.  400 calories.
  • 01:40 PM: 1 bowl of oriental chicken salad.  400 calories.
  • 01:45 PM: 2 drinks.  200 calories.
  • 07:00 PM: 1 bowl of oat meal with Parmesan cheese.  400 calories.

Total calories: 1750

  • 07:10 PM: 2 cups of organic skim milk.  160 calories.
  • 09:00 PM: 2 cups of fresh cherries.  150 calories.

Total calories: 1160
